Emergency lights are self contained  battery packed unit  wired into the mains  that comes on automatically in the event of mains power failure.  The batteries are kept charged by the mains. In the event of a fire they would luminate and aid means of escape to the closest fire exit.

Emergency lights are often used in conjunction with Fire exit signs.

Self contained emergency lights are available in Maintained (illuminated all the time)or Non Maintained Mode ( Illuminate when normal power supply fails)

We are able to offer  a maintenance contract for annual servicing to include a test for the full specified duration as well as installation to BS5266.
