The health and safety(safety signs and signals) Regulations 1996 relates to the usage of fire safety signs in the workplace.
Employers are required to provide specific safety signage to minimise the risk of accidents where a risk exists that cannot be avoided by other means or controlled.
Fire Safety signs fall into three main categories :
- Fire Extinguisher / equipment Signs
- Fire Exit Signs
- Fire Action signs
