Fire Risk Assessment
The regulatory reform order (fire Safety order) which came into force in October 2006 requires all businesses to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment and if they employ 5 or more staff this must be recorded. This needs to be carried out by a competent person. The responsibility of carrying out a fire risk assessment lies with the responsible person usually the employer of the business or manager of the building. The responsible person is responsible for employees and relevant persons and must reduce the risk of fire, consider containing a fire should one break out and ensure people can safely escape.
JPR Fire Protection Ltd carry out fire risk assessments on site and produce a report and summary from as little as £150.00 +VAT.
